- We have been really busy around here lately with all the fall festival, Halloween, birthday parties, and moving. Yes, you heard me right. But no we are not moving for good. We are doing some things to our house so we thought it was best to not have a crawling, cruising around baby in the middle of a construction zone And my wonderful FIL opened up his home to us. I don't know if it was really to us or for Anna Riley...but either was we are staying there! haha. We moved over Sunday night and it has worked out perfect. There was already a crib and everything at his house and every toy you could possibly imagine so we really just had to bring some clothes and we were good to go. Anna Riley transitioned very well in her new room and has been sleeping SO good again...Hallelujah!! I better not speak too soon though.
- We are getting our family pics made Friday and I am hoping for some really good ones. Anna Riley is all about cheezing for the camera right now so I hope she is in a good mood and puts on that big smile!
- Anna Riley gets to see Zoe and Carson this weekend and of course I get to see my best friends too!! :) We are going to the Tannehill Halloween Fairyland on Saturday.
- Anna Riley has made little friends in her class at church. Sunday, all the little girls were double names and they all began with Anna! Those poor, poor teachers! They said that her and Anna Ryan (also carries her Daddy's name) are just best friends and they play so good together every Sunday. When we went to pick her up this Sunday, even though she was so ready for her nap (because we go to the early service), she was playing so hard...they had even tied her dress up. It took her a while to notice we were there and even then, she kept on playing with her little friends. I am so glad that she loves the teachers at our church and has little friends that she will grow up with there.

2 birthday parties and fall festival= a busy saturday
I can tell the holidays are approaching because our weekends are getting busier and busier...but I kind of like it that way. Saturday, we had two birthday parties before lunch and then a fall festival at my parents church that evening. And if you know us, you know there was some football watching in between.
--Maggie, our neighbor turned one! Anna Riley enjoyed playing with her and the other kids at the party!Tuesday, October 19, 2010
Mini Pumpkin Patch
Riley and I decided to just take AR to "mini" pumpkin patch this year since there isn't a good one close by and she really couldn't enjoy everything anyway. I am glad we didn't drive too far because she hated it! I don't know if the mass of pumpkins scared her or what because she loves ours at home, but as soon as I sat her down to get my pictures which is truly the only reason we went...she burst into tears! So we moved to another location where it was a little shaded...nope she hated all the pumpkins! But she did find this one huge pumpkin that she could stand by and that was the only way she liked it!
UA Homecoming
Saturday was UA's Homecoming so we took AR out to the parade and to tailgate. Neither of us were going to the game this time so we could leave whenever, but surprisingly we stayed a long time because she was doing really well. We were excited to get to see Kimberly, Cory and Carson!
She was not a fan of the parade. She liked it at first and then all the big trucks would stop and honk really loud and it scared her.
What a character
Anna Riley is constantly cracking us up with her little personality. She has become quite a character!
A new way to sleep
This seems to be Anna Riley's new favorite position to sleep in. We just put her down and she ends up just passing out because she wears herself out from standing and sitting. It is so funny to see how she ends up. She usually will stay like this for a little while and then move into a more comfortable position.
