Weekend in pictures

We were so happy that the Tidmores were able to join us for the weekend.  Anna Riley got to "love" on baby Talon and play with Tucker.  The weather was perfect!!

10 weeks (March 17)

I am slow about putting this up here because now I am almost 11 weeks.  I was 10 weeks on Thursday.  I am going to attempt a picture each week but I was not so successful doing that when pregnant with AR.

 

• Symptoms:  I have been sick off and on.  I feel nauseated a lot but I dont get as sick as much as I did last time.  My nausea is at random times during the day/night...not always "morning" sickness.  I have also had some indigestion which I never really had with AR.  I have the Tums on hand now.  One of my favorite foods (pizza) now gives me really bad indigestion!! :(  I have had a lot more headaches this time. I am tired but I am slowly starting to feel my energy coming back. 
• Weight gain:  Not exactly for sure because my weight has been fluctuating so much.  It seems to be about 2 lbs.  I know I am showing  a lot faster this time!
• Cravings:  I didn't really ever have "cravings" last time but there are things that I tend to want more or set better with me.  I really like sour candy.  I have been eating lots of fruit.   In the very beginning I could not stand the taste of chicken or pork but I will eat it now but somethings still turn my stomach. 
• Maternity Clothes:  Not yet
• Sleep:   Other than having CRAZY dreams and waking up to pee, I sleep pretty good.
• Best Moment of the week:  Seeing Anna Riley with baby Talon (he is 9 wks old) this weekend.  She loved him so much and was very good with him...hope it stays that way! :)
• Doctor Appointment:  I had to have another ultrasound 2 weeks ago just to measure my cervix.  But, I got to see and hear the baby again!  The heartrate was 185 this time!!  That was a big difference from last time when it was in the 130s.  Everything was still looking good....I am anxious to know the gender.  I have been really feeling a boy but we will see!

St. Patricks Day

We went down to Fairhope last Thursday (St. Patricks Day) for the Arts and Crafts Festival that was going on that weekend. We got there around lunch so we got to enjoy some good Irish food and a very beautiful day!!

Kangarooz

Since it was raining on and off Saturday, we took the kids to Kangarooz in Spanish Fort.  They had so much fun!  They have tons of inflatables, a toddler area and a dance floor.  Anna Riley even got in one of the small infatables by herself and giggled the whole time!  The dance floor had a disco ball so she had a ball chasing after all the "spots" on the floor!  I didn't get a lot of pictures because we were constantly chasing after her!

Happy Mardi Gras!

We went to Fairhope this weekend for the Mardi Gras festivies.  Our friends, Wade and Mandy came with us and their 3 girls...so needless to say, there wasn't a dull moment all weekend! :) Unfortantely the weather was not that great so we didn't get to go to the parade on Saturday but we did enjoy some King Cake!  I wasn't sure if AR would like it because she was not a fan of the UA homecoming parade and the loud noises, but she loved it!  She liked dancing to the music and her favorite part was the stuffed animals they threw to her!  We walked away with about 10 animals between all the girls.  We also found out she is a fan of Moon Pies...without me knowing it she managed to open one up on the way home and it was almost gone when we pulled in!

Happy Mardi Gras!

13 months (March 4)

Here is what Anna Riley is up to at 13 months old:

*Not for sure about her weight and height...I'm sure its still pretty close to last month
*She still wears size 4 diaper and 18 month clothes.
*She still is a good eater but not as good as she once was.  She is too busy and doesn't want to sit still to eat.
*She has a cup of milk after every meal.
*Eating out is definitely a challenge now.  Especially now that she can walk, she wants to get down out of the highchair and check things out!

*Speaking of walking...she is all over the place now!
*Loves the water! I can't wait until its warm enough to get in.  We were in Fairhope this weekend and we walked out on the beach and she took off to the water and cried because she couldn't get in! 
*Her favorite treats are ice cream and the Reece's miniatures. 
*"Talks" all the time but not in English!  She does say Dada, Daddy, Mama, uh-oh, good girl, dog (buts its more like dah), nasty (I said it referring to her diaper and she started saying it), she tries to say teeth and fish.  She is close to saying a lot of other words but hasn't gotten it yet.
*She loves making the "t" sound!  If you say any words that start with "t" she says that sound.

*She really likes stuffed animals.
*She LOVES her babydoll.  She carries her around all day and holds her to her chest and pats her back! Its so cute!  She also does this with her bunny and other stuffed animals.
*She loves books!  We read a lot of books throughout the day!  We are now reading 6 or 7 before bed...she likes to add to the list!

*Loves being outside and with the weather like it has been, I do too!
*She is definitely a people watcher!  She observes everything and everyone and will look at someone until they talk to her!  (Makes for a long grocery shopping trip because everyone stops and talks to her!)
*She is obsessed with dogs!  She gets SO excited when one is around! 

*When Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is on, she shuts us out!  She is glued to the tv when "her show"  is on!  That's why we only watch a couple of episodes a day because she literally wouldn't move all day if I left it on!
*She gives the best kisses and is starting to hug now.
*We are in the process of taking the pacy away.  We took it completely away for almost 2 whole days/nights.  Then she had a meltdown.   But she is getting her one year molars in and her teeth have been hurting her a lot and she is getting over a cold also so we gave in and let her have it at night until they come in and she is feeling better.  I hate to take that away when she hurts so bad.  My goal in the beginning was to have it taken away completely by 15 months.  But since she was doing so good we thought we would take it away now.  We are also traveling twice this month so hopefully we will have better luck in a few weeks.
*Her hair is finally growing and it is getting so curly in the back.
*She went to her first Mardi Gras parade this weekend and loved it!
