36 weeks
Symptoms: I feel great somedays and not so great the other. I have had a lot of ligament pains on the right side this week, especially after going walking Tuesday morning. I am not quite as tired as I have been so that helps a lot. I still have trouble breathing and I have to take really deep breaths sometimes...this usually happens when I am sitting. I have had more pain in my back this week. My belly button is almost completely out. With Anna Riley, my belly button looked more like a crater or deep hole but its a lot different this time.
Weight gain: 27 lbs.
Maternity Clothes: The options are getting very slim
Sleep: Sleep is not the best. I have to pee quite a bit and I am literally rolling out of bed. Also, around 4 or so most mornings, I wake up to go to the bathroom and can't go back to sleep for like an hour. So, if you get a blog or facebook comment from me in the early morning hours you know why! :)
Movement: Movement has slowed down a good bit and now when she moves around it usually doesn't feel so great. I am sure she has ran out of room!
Cravings: Anything with cream cheese ( I don't think I can really blame that one on pregnancy!!) I am eating the caramel apple cream cheese dip I talked about earlier in the week as we speak.
Dr. Appointment: Everything looked great at my Dr. appointment today. The group B was negative, iron looked good, weight gain still about a lb, baby measured great so we were all good to go! Cant believe we are only 3 weeks away! :) I am BEYOND ready to meet my sweet Ava Kate!

New Toys...
Or that's what she thinks anyway!!
We have brought home all the baby stuff (except for the swing) from my Father-in-laws basement this week. Anna Riley thinks she has just gotten lots of new toys to play with. She carries them all over the house, puts her babies in them, gets in the herself. It will be interesting to see how she shares these "new toys" with her baby sister.

Big Sister Practice
Laying with her baby in the bouncy seat
She had to bring her blanket and bunnies for the baby to "nite nite"
We found one of her pacis that had her name on it at Papa Dougs so she loved giving it to the baby.
(Its amazing to me how attached she was to her paci and now she doesn't even think about putting it in her mouth...its for the baby!)
Yes, the baby's head is backwards!
Let's just hope she doesn't do this with her new baby sister!

RTR!!
We had a great time watching football all day Saturday. We got to see Bama bring home another win! :)
We had 3 other couples and their kids come over Saturday to watch the game. The kids had a blast playing together while we stuffed our faces and watched football. We had quite the spread (and most of it was recipes we all got from Pintrest...gotta love it!) My favorite was Apple Cheesecake Dip!!! YUM...you have to try it. Click here for the recipe. Its perfect for fall too!
ROLL TIDE!
This was actually Friday (in Tuscaloosa, we typically wear bama clothes all weekend! haha)
"ROOOOOLLLL Tide Roll!"
My sweet little cheerleader
Talon...is he not ADORABLE?!?
I have already claimed him for one of my girls to marry! :)
Cooper and AR playing during the game
Anna Riley is saying "CHEEESE"
Fischer and Tucker were not interested in pictures

Baking with Mommy
Anna Riley helped me bake a few things that we are going to snack on tomorrow during the game. I love that she is at the age where she is interested in helping me with things like cooking and cleaning. I look forward to doing this with my girls as they grow up!
35 weeks
Symptoms: I am nearing the end and I can tell it! I'm experiencing all the little aches and pains that you get toward the end and the only positive is I am almost there! I have had a lot of pains really down low. They are sharp pains that come and go and only last a few seconds but they really take your breath away. I have been still going to the gym and doing Zumba as much as I can (which is only once or twice a week at this point) but after going Tuesday, I decided I would have to just stick to walking for the next 4 weeks. My back has just been hurting so much more since I went this week and I just felt so achy all over...so no more Zumba for a while! And the other symptoms are the obvious ones...having to literally roll out of bed, can't bend over, can't breathe, etc... But no swelling or anything like that yet.
Weight Gain: 26 lbs.
Maternity Clothes: Same here...I didn't have quite as many maternity summer clothes so I am running out of options. I am SO ready to buy and wear regular clothes!!!
Movement: Still a lot of movement but not so much kicking as just moving or sticking her bottom or feet out.
Cravings: I haven't really craved anything lately. Of course, with football season here, I want dips and tailgaiting food but thats not because of pregnancy that just because love that type of food especially during football season! :)
Sleeping: Not so great this week. Since my back was hurting really bad, I had a hard time getting comfortable to go to sleep. Once I am asleep, I can't stay asleep long before I have to go to the bathroom! Some nights are better than others although last night was not one of those nights. I am pretty sure I went to the bathroom at least 6 times during the night if not more!
Dr. Appointment: I had a doctors appointment this morning. My doctor is out right now because he had thumb surgery so I saw Dr. Madden, another doctor in the practice. I told him about all the sharp pains I had been having and he did an exam to make sure everything was still ok and he also did the group b strep test. He said my cervix still seemed to be fine so what was probably happening was my uterus was just expanding more causing the pains and also she is probably dropping a little lower (although it definitely doesn't feel that way). He said most mothers never complain about having the pains with the first pregnancy but then experience them with the following pregnancies. He said it would be a good idea to take it easy the next few weeks though. I also got the flu shot today.
