Egg Hunt at Pop Pop's house

The Saturday before Easter, we had an egg hunt at Pop Pop's house.  Unfortunately it was raining so we had to hunt eggs in the basement.  The two little ones were not interested in the eggs at all.  They wanted to climb up and down the stairs.  Anna Riley loved hunting the eggs but stopped each time to open it and get the candy out!

Spring Break...in Berry

Anna Riley's did not have school or ballet last week due to Spring Break.  We decided a while back to do some much needed remodeling in our kitchen and new cabinets in the bathrooms. The girls and I headed to Berry on Saturday afternoon because we had a wedding that evening.  We spent the whole week in Berry and the girls had a blast being in the country...I do wish it would have been warm all week! It was so good to spend time with family and see my Grandmother every day!

We headed back to Tuscaloosa on Tuesday to have lunch with Riley.  On Wednesday, we went to Winfield to see our friends, Amanda and Tripp and their new house.  On Thursday, my Dad was off so we headed to Fayette park to play!  My Grandmother, Aunt and cousin got to come to.  On Friday, Mom and Dad were both off work but they weren't feeling too great!  We dyed eggs and hunted them in the backyard.  Ava Kate was not interested at all and Anna Riley was all about it! We had Hailey's birthday party on Friday night and then we headed home after that! The girls were SO excited to see their Daddy!!

Fairhope weekend

Last Thursday, we headed down to Fairhope for the weekend.  The weather was so great!  Fairhope was having their Spring Arts Festival.  It is very big with all the streets filled with booths.  Ava Kate was not a fan of the festival and did not want to stay in the stroller so we didn't stay too long. The girls got to play on the beach and Mama got a little bit of sun! :)  On Saturday, we went to the festival for a short amount of time and then played at the park for a while.  We got to eat lunch outside and play on the beach all afternoon! Sunday we got an early start home because AK woke up at 4 am and was still up at 5:30 when she woke Anna Riley up so we packed up and headed out...stopped and had breakfast and was home before lunch! We found out on Monday that her ears were really bad infected.

Dinner at Big Daddys...it is one of our favorites mainly because they
have the sand for the kids to play in!
