A beatiful day

What a beautiful day it was today!! Riley and I decided to get up this morning and eat breakfast at the Waysider. YUM! I sure have missed those biscuits! I havent eaten there since Riley and I first started dating. If Riley falls into his Dad's habits, he will be eating there about 3 times a week! haha. It was so pretty all day long though. We ran around town and did a few things and just enjoyed being out. It was nice to see the sun out for a change!

Dinner with the Thomas's

Last Saturday night we went to Wade and Mandy's house to grill out and of course see the girls. They had grown so much!! When I walked in Mandy had all three girls eating by themselves! WOW I mean I guess you have to figure out some kind of system when you have 3! She had 2 sitting in the bouncer chairs and one in the boppy chair and she just had a burp cloth under the bottle to hold it up. Then she could tend to each one as needed. I wish I would have taken a picture...it was pretty impressive to me who does not have any kids! haha. Here are a few cute pictures and 2 professional pictures.

Easter Baskets

A co-worker of mine makes gorgeous Easter baskets. They are really cute and she customizes them to your specifications and your child's name is on one side. They also have coordinating ribbon covering the handle. They are $30 for 10" and $40 for 12." If you saw the ones at Bow Regards last year, she was the one that painted them, they just upped the price last year. If you are interested, you can call Kelli Burbage at:205 339-3044 or 205 886-3204 or email her at kelburb@juno.com or let me know and I can get the info to her. Just thought I would pass the info along.

Relaxing Weekend

Riley and I decided to head down to Fairhope this weekend with nothing on our agenda but to RELAX. I really feel that we accomplished that because we literally did nothing but read, watch the sunsets, eat, watch movies, and lay around and it was wonderful!!! I did get a touch of the stomach virus Saturday night and into Sunday so that wasnt fun but it always helps to be at the beach when you are sick! While we were there I was reading the "Cooking with Paula Deen" magazine and there was an article in this months issue about Fairhope. It said how it was a great place to visit or grow up and how nice the people are and how small and quaint the town is. Which is so true. I just thought it was so neat that I turned the page in my magazine and it looked like the back yard! haha ( It honestly did, Riley had to go out there and look to compare the two because they were very similar!) It is a great place and if I didnt want to be close to our families I would really try to convince him we need to live there!!! :) For now I will just visit!

Telluride, Colorado

Sorry I am just now updating, my computer has had some kind of virus. Riley and I had a wonderful Christmas. It is so wonderful to be around family and friends that you love. We also went on our annual ski trip to Colorado. This year we went to one of my favorite places which is Telluride. It is just such a cute and small town and it's just so pretty there. (Not to mention, both times I have been there I just happen to see celebrities!) which is why Riley says I like it but its not the only reason. ;) We did see Jerry Seinfeld this time, eating at a restaurant. However, I did not bother him because I figure he is on vacation too! We had a wonderful time...Riley, of course skied everyday, while I chose to do other things like walk around, read, and go to the spa and I did get a couple of days of skiing in. Our friends Jason and Elaine went with us and then New Years Day our friends Cameron and Courtney and her Dad and sister and little boy flew in and they were staying close by. Riley's aunt and uncle were also there and we got to visit them one day as well. On New Year's Eve they have a torch lighting and all the local skiers ski down the mountain holding torches. It it very pretty. We could see it from our balcony. We really enjoyed our trip and can't wait until our next ski trip. We did miss Cyndee and Dan however, because they have been with us for the past 2 New Years! Maybe next year!
