Let's eat Cake...and open Presents!

Anna Riley had been looking forward to blowing our her candles and eating cake for a while!  She even helped find a picture of what she wanted her cake to look like!  The cake is serious business for this girl!! :)  So she ask me several times that morning if it was time for cake!  She was also excited to open her presents!!

She was so funny opening presents this year!  Every present was "Oh, is that for ME??"  or "A barbie just for me!!"  haha!
She got a Lee Middleton doll from Mom and Dad that she named Ella.  She also got several Barbies,  several princess things,  a cute outfit and a swimsuit and coverup, money, a year subscription to Disney Junior Magazine.

We are so glad so many of our friends and family could come and celebrate with us!

AR's Cinderella Party

PART 2:  Cinderella arrives!
From the minute Cinderella arrived until she left, Anna Riley didn't leave her side.  She was in complete awe!  Cinderella did made wands and crowns with the girls. She brought the Fairy Godmother with her and she painted faces while the others did the craft. When everyone had their face painted, Cinderella sang to them and told them her story.

The Fairy Godmother was very talented in her face painting abilities!  She painted around 12 or 13 girls faces in the hour and everyone looked so different.  Cinderella could also sing really well.

At one point, I went over and ask Anna Riley if she wanted me to help her with her craft and she said "No Mommy, Cinderella is helping me!" haha!  When I took her to potty, she told me that she was having SO much fun!  It makes it all worth it to see the excitement on her face!
The girls wanted to see her shoes! :)

AK even loved Cinderella!

Hear ye, Hear ye...Princess Anna Riley is turning 3

PART 1: Decorations
Anna Riley's birthday is February 4th, but we had her birthday party on Saturday.  After changing our minds a couple of times, she decided she wanted a Cinderella birthday party and what better year to do it since Cinderella just came back out of the vault! I knew I didn't want to do the character theme so we just did blue, white and silver with a little pink.

The tables were set up for them to have a "royal meal" which consists of chicken nuggets, fruit and cheese and crackers and then cake, doughnut holes and candy for dessert.   Each girl had a place card and a glass slipper filled with candy at their seat.

I got the plates and silverware at the Dollar Tree.

The invitations were done by Peyton at Do It Cute.

I threw together a quick wreath for the door.  It wasn't the best
but I didn't have anything else and it took less than 10 minutes!

I hung plastic tablecloths from the dollar tree on the ceiling.  I hung lanterns and tissue balls also.

Bret Summerlin made the cake and did a wonderful job!!

The clock on the entry table

In the playroom, I had a bed canopy hanging from the ceiling with lanterns and tissue balls hanging in the middle.  This is where Cinderella and all the little princesses spent the first hour of the party.

Sunday in Berry

Last Sunday, we went to Berry after church.  The girls and I stayed the night and Riley went on back that afternoon.  I love spending time in Berry, especially when we aren't rushed!  We had a wonderful lunch as always.  My cousin's little girl came out to play with AR and they played all afternoon. We got to visit with my grandmother and Aunt. Riley and I finally got to practice shooting our new guns. My brother came out that evening and spent some time with us.  It was such a great afternoon spent with family!
