Weekend

We had such a great weekend.  A few of my girlfriends decided to come in town for Anna Rileys baptism that was on Sunday so we had a little "girls night in" Saturday night.  Oh so much fun!  We ordered a pizza, ate way too much junk food, got to catch up with each other and then watched a movie when the babies (Zoe and Anna Riley) went to bed.  Such a fun night!   We didnt really take any pictures though.

Becca and Zoe stayed with us Saturday and Sunday night so Anna Riley and Zoe got to play together a good bit.  They are so cute together.  For the most part they just want to grab each other though.  They did hold hands and Becca and I were just a clicking our cameras! haha...they are SO used to it!  I think they will really be ready to actually play with each other in another couple of months.
So Sweet! Best Friends!!
or not? haha
I just love it!!!

Anna Riley's baptism

We had Anna Riley's baptism this Sunday at church.  What a special day!  Dr. Dunivant married us just over 2 years ago so it was very special. She did wonderful and it even looked like she was nodding to what Dr. Dunivant said.  It was such a coincidence but so cute. She is so blessed to have so many wonderful people in her life to share her special day with her.  We had a wonderful service and then brunch at the University Club.  It was a great day!

Random Pictures...

Since I am a little behind, I have a few pictures I wanted to share that I am going to just put together in one post...
Dont you just love it?!   She has started sleeping like this a lot more here lately and I think its even more adorable because of the "Ruffle Butts" outfit she is wearing! haha
This was after our neighbor, Addie Gail's birthday luau
At Addie Gail's birthday party...it down poured so the festivities were taken inside! :(
Practicing sitting
She is always trying to show me her feet!
Peek-a-Boo!
Playing with the Bunny rabbit her Nana gave her for Easter

Sitting in the buggy for the first time

This was actually taken several weeks ago but since I couldnt upload pics I am just now putting it on here.  She sat in the buggy for the first time when we went to Sams a few weeks ago.  The picture makes me laugh everytime because her eyes are HUGE!  I dont know if Sams overwhelmed her or if she was just that excited!

Loving the pool

**new post below**

Sippy Cup and new foods

We recently started let Anna Riley practice with a sippy cup.  She did really great the first time and held it herself and everything and now she wants me to hold it again.  But she is getting the hang of how to drink out of it. When we were at the pool the other day she was wanting my big jug of water rather than her sippy cup and it had a big straw in it.  I finally gave it to her thinking she would chew on it but she drank out of the straw! Since then she has done it a few more times with the smaller straws.
We have tried a few new foods.  I said I was only going to try a couple more but she is doing so good with everything and she is ALL about our food and really gets mad if we are eating and she cant have anything! So we have let her try several things.  Plus we have so many good fresh fruits and vegetables around the house right now I hate not to let her have some! She still hasn't had jar baby food (not that I am against that for anyone that does that but I just haven't had the need to give it to her yet).
So far she has had brown rice cereal, bananas, strawberries, pineapple, peaches, avocados, sweet potatoes (a BIG favorite), green beans.  So far she has liked them all.  And the child eats as if it were her job! So I am kind of glad we started solids because if not I have a feeling I would have called the doctor anyways because she would have never been satisfied off of just cereal like the doctor wanted us to do.
Trying Grannys green beans we had canned...wasnt sure she was going to like them at first
It was her first green vegetable.
OH YEAH! Give me more!  She loves them as much as we do!

That was Mmm GOOD!
This picture was after she had avocados.  She also loved them.  I think its one of her favorites.  Riley seriously eats them on EVERYTHING and I buy a lot of them every week so its a good thing she likes them too!
