Read Across America

Today was Dr. Seuss's Birthday so we celebrated it at school with Read Across America Day. My co-workers and I dressed up as the Cat in the Hat, Thing 1 and 2. I did this last year too and the kids just love it! I mean who doesnt love a teacher with blue hair? haha I also cooked green eggs and ham and we had lots of visitors come read to us. It was very eventful, but a fun day for the kids. Here are a few pictures.

What fun!We had green eggs and ham for lunch today, swapped classes like "High schoolers" and had mystery readers. It was a very busy day but they loved it!

Aren't you just too cute in that blue hair! I picked up my Granddaughters from school that day and two Alabama football playera had read to them. All they could talk about was how cute they were! 1st and 2nd Graders. MeMe told them that all Alabama football players were cute.
