Back in college we used to always have themed parties. So what better way to celebrate with your friends than bringing back old memories. The theme for the party was 80's and it was so much fun! But before any of that took place we started the day off with a little relaxation by the pool at Mrs. Sharon Grey's house (Cyndee's mom). Mrs. Sharon had prepared a nice salad luncheon for us that was so good! That night we went to Wilhagen's for the party. We all dressed up and had a great time! I got lots of great gifts and got to bring back lots of memories with all of my friends. It was a great night!

It must be the year for engagements
Someone must have made a deal with all of these guys that if they propose this year they will get something fantastic because I have never heard of so many people getting engaged or married in one year!! Riley and I have already been invited to 5 weddings since March and have 7 more to go after mine! And I know of several others that are also engaged but just haven't set a date. One of my friends is in 7 weddings this year and I feel so sorry for her! It must just be the year for weddings!
Lily Grace's Birthday Party
This is really late but I forgot to post it! I can't believe that my best friend since Kindergarten has a baby that is now one year old!! I had a great time at LG's party. Peyton did a great job decorating it and they had a great turn out! Lily Grace got so many nice things for her first birthday!! I also got to spend some extra time catching up with them after the party because I had another party to go to in Brent that afternoon.

Around the Clock Party
This past weekend Mr. Larry and Mrs. Judy Johnson hosted an "Around the Clock" party for Riley and I at North River. It was a couples party and our parents joined us as well. The weather was perfect and there was even a beautiful sunset while we were eating. We got lots of great gifts like a tailgating grill from my parents, beach items, breakfast cookware, sheets and a whole tub of wedding scrapbooking supplies from Peyton plus many other great gifts! We had a wonderful time with all of our friends and family that were able to make it!

School Shower
Time Flies!
Wow! It seems like just yesterday Riley and I got engaged and now it is only 17 more days until the wedding!! I was feeling a little stressed the past couple of weeks because a few unexpected things happened but I have learned to just not worry about it. One big thing was the bridesmaids dresses were supposed to be in ( at the very latest) the end of April and they are still not here! I ordered them in September. But, Riley has been WONDERFUL these past few weeks and he has dealt with the company and he knows more about the dresses now than I do. He has went to the store, talked to the manufacturer, and sent and received faxes from them almost everyday to make sure they will be in on time! They have promised to have them in by Friday so maybe they will. Someone ask me the other day if I was worried about it and I said well not anymore...I really just don't care! I think I am just to that point now, so if you happened to be at my wedding and everyone is wearing a different dress...you will know why! But what really matters is at the end of the day, Riley and I are married! :)

Tea at the Berry Civic Center
Last Sunday some of the ladies in Berry gave me a Bridal tea at the Berry Civic Center. They all worked so hard and it turned out great! A special thanks to Peyton and Mrs. Debbie for getting everything together and to all of the ladies that helped. Riley and I really appreciate everything! I was also so excited to see all of my bridesmaids together. It is so hard for us to all see each other because we don't all live in the same places and now that several of us are getting married we are all so very busy!
