Spitting

Spitting is her new favorite thing!  She also likes to blow rasberries on people and herself. She does it and then just laughs because she thinks it is so funny!  When did she grow up so fast?? Where did my littly bitty baby go?  I am loving every minute of it but WOW it is flying by so fast I just want to savor every moment..even spitting! haha

I love you, little one

I love reading to Anna Riley and it is amazing how much she seems to love books already.  One of her favorites (and yes she does have favorites)  is I love you, little one by Nancy Tafuri.  We read this one almost, if not every day beause she loves it so much.  And I just love watching her as I read it.  It is about these baby animals that ask their Mama's if  they love them and the end of each page the text says "Do you love me, Mama?  I smile everytime because everytime I read that sentence she turns to looks at me as if she were saying "well..do you?? haha.   It goes through several animals asking and the Mama answering and explaining and everytime she looks at me and sometimes smiles.  I just love it! :)

Daddy's girl

Riley and Anna Riley have been getting some special time together since I go to my Zumba class usually 3 nights a week.  I have been doing this for a few months now and I think they really enjoy the time together.  This was Tuesday night right before I was about to walk out the door for class.  Can you tell she is a Daddy's girl?

CHOM

This week's playdate we decided to meet at CHOM (The Children's Hands on Museum) here in Tuscaloosa.  This has always been on of my favorite places (even as an adult).  It is such a great place for kids and they have activities for a wide range of ages and they just keep adding new centers.  We went to Yummy Tummy Time which is songs and a snack and AR loved that!  They whole time we were singing she kept looking up at me smiling! We had s much fun and I cant wait to take her back...I know it will just keep getting more fun the older she gets!

He was not interested in me taking his picture!

That hat was one of the most ridiculous looking hats I've ever seen! haha
We found a prettier hat!

Caroline must have been the only other one that would let me take pictures

Just a swingin'

Yesterday evening we could actually enjoy being outside for a little while because the weather was not so hot.  I have been getting so excited everytime I see its only going to be 90! haha Only in the south would we get so excited over that because that is still so hot but much better than a heat index of 110!  Anna Riley got to enjoy her swing for a little while.

Out with the old in with the new

We have been packing up all of Anna Riley's baby things to put away over the past couple of weeks.  It is bittersweet because even though I miss that tiny baby and cant believe how fast it is all going by, I am so excited about all the new and fun things to come.   Since she finally was sitting very well on her own, we put away the hard baby tub.  But we, especially Daddy (he's a little more over protective than myself), wasn't ready for the real bathtub yet so we decided to get the $10 blowup duck.  Anna Riley loves it because she can still "relax" but she sit up and play if she wants to and we dont have to worry about her hitting her head.  She is so brave that I dont know how she will do when she is just in the real tub because as you can see in some of the pics, she is constantly trying to lay as far down in the water as she can and the other day she was wanting to roll over.
Here are a few pics in her new ducky:

Family weekend in Fairhope

We decided to all go down to Fairhope together this past weekend. It was bittersweet...it was nice all being together as a family and of course we always love going to Fairhope but it was the first time going as a family without Mrs. Cindy. It rained the majority of the weekend but we still had a great time.  Anna Riley enjoyed the little beach we have at the house this time.  She liked having the water come up to her feet.  Her Daddy took her in the bay and she loved it.   We also went to the pool on Saturday but we were only there for an hour and it started coming a thunderstorm.  She is such a water baby though.  I just hope she stays that way! The pictures arent the best because my lens kept fogging up.
