Prayer Request

My mother-in-law, Cindy Hollyhand is having her 2nd liver transplant today at 5 pm at UAB. She had her first transplant last July and has had many complications with it and stayed in and out of the hospital for over 6 months and still has problems with it now. Please just keep her in your thoughts and prayers. She is a strong lady but I know going through all of this again is very hard on her.

15 week appointment

I went to the Doctor on Tuesday and everything looked good. The heartbeat was about 160 again. I had gained half a pound since the last appointment. I am feeling much better now, just really tired when I get home from school. I have been a clean freak at school here lately because of all the flu going around! I Lysol everything and use clorox wipes to wipe everything down every afternoon. However...I still get sick!! I came home Friday after a wonderful massage and felt GREAT! Then...it hits! The stuffy nose, sneezing, cant breathe! And what has been bothering me the most is the rapid heart rate I get occasionally (I think it just scares me a little because I cant catch my breath!) But I have heard that it is completely normal and Im sure its just worse now because Im sick. Hope that is all I get...swine stay away!

Yay for 2nd Trimester

I hit the 2nd trimester on Sunday! I haven't been sick in almost 2 weeks! YAY!!! I really dont think I could have been with Kindergarteners and throwing up like I was so it really has been a blessing! I am just waiting for that energy to kick in any day now! haha I am always super tired the first few weeks of school so being pregnant just hasnt helped!



I didn't really want to tell the kids at school about me being pregnant yet because I didnt want to have to answer the "questions" and have all the belly rubbing from them. But I decided to go ahead and tell them because some of them like to come up and hug really tight and I have to pull them away. They were so funny when I told them and they gave me tons of name suggestions (which were of course their names!) And it cracks me up because everyday that say " did you get that baby out of there yet?"

1st week back to school

Well I guess the summer had to end sometime and as always we head back to school. I had mixed emotions starting back. First, I was really worried because I had been so sick. I mean when teaching little ones...you hardly get to go to the bathroom, much less be sick like I had been. I was excited though to get back in a routine and to teach Kindergarten.
I was sooo sick Sunday. I couldnt hold anything down all day! I finally held some fruit down at 9:00!! BUT...I guess (or Im hoping) that it just got really, really bad before it got better because I wasnt sick all week!!! YAY...thank you Lord!!! I have felt nauseous at times but not throwing up sick like I had been!
The first day went great. I have some really sweet kids this year. However, by 2:30 they were exhausted as well as their teacher! I came home and took a 2 hour nap and then went right off to sleep at 9:00!! The rest of the week went well too. Riley has been a big help...he cooked this week and did all the laundry (which he does the laundry for the most part all the time). He is always a big help especially the first few weeks of school because I am so busy, so I am so thankful for that!

Just a few bedding ideas

I have looked at a few websites for bedding. I am looking now because I am very indecisive so I know it will take me forever to decide! But...I have noticed a pattern in most all of these!
